Aviation as an Art

The following paintings are all for sale, all of which are ORIGINAL oil paintings. Size and medium are listed under the painting. The prices can be discussed 1:1 when making a purchace along with any framing requirements, but do not think that owning an original piece of art will be too expensive. Commissions can be completed for less than £50 depending on size…. PLEASE REMEMBER THAT THESE WORKS ARE UNIQUE – THERE ARE AND WILL BE, NO PRINTS MADE.

All paintings (unless otherwise stated) are by John Applegarth, an aspiring local artist who has specialised in aviation paintings for 5 years. He is a member of the guild of Aviation Artists (‘friend’ membership), and has produced commissions for Newcastle Aviation Academy, Yorkshire Helicopter Preservation Group, and the former Wings bar and restaurant chain at Newcastle and Durham Tees Valley Airports amongst others. He is one of the founders of Wings Over Northumberland and dislikes writing about himself in 3rd person like this!
