October 2009:

One of our directors has bought one and a half aeroplanes which will become the first aircraft to be transferred to Wings Over Northumberland when we have a home!

WB670 is a DeHavilland Chipmunk T-10 – an aircraft very familiar to Air Cadets of a certain age…. She is currently stored within Blagdon Estates. We also have a cockpit section (CHIPPAX) which will be restored to become a travelling exhibit.
